Robert Garwood, MD Board Certified Child-Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist
Presently, Dr. Garwood is a treating psychiatrist across all New Oakland Facilities
and works providing services in both the outpatient and FACE to FACE
Partial Hospital Program (PHP). Dr. Garwood graduated from the University of Michigan
School of Medicine. Dr. Garwood is a member of numerous Psychiatric Associations and
has specialized training in Child-Adolescent treatment and services.
Dr. Garwood has nearly 30 years of experience in psychiatry and has served as Medical
Director for numerous agencies and organizations. In his free time, Dr. Garwood enjoys
spending time with his family. Dr. Garwood also enjoys reading and writing poetry,
wine tasting and is an avid fan of the arts.
