New Oakland Child-Adolescent and Family Center
Families
Family members span the various age groups, and since a family's overall health is a function of all ages fitting in together and respecting each other, we need to treat the family as a unit.
When one or more members are struggling mentally or physically, the unit draws strength and solves issues by working together. Parents are the leaders in setting the tone and methods for the health of the unit, and New Oakland is adamant that parents participate in the therapy their children receive. This is explained further in the Proactive Parenting section of this Website.
New Oakland Child-Adolescent and Family Center assesses and treats the mental health issues and crises faced by children and adolescents. Immediate action can return well-being to your family.
